Flawless Thoughts

All the remaining teams in the MLB playoffs have had two champagne celebrations. That can only mean we are gearing up for some Championship Series action and action it will be as the Rangers get ready to host the Yankees. Though the Rangers looked good winning all their games on the road in Tampa, the Yanks look even better with their pitching woes seemingly worked out and their bats hitting the ball well. The Giants meet the Phillies in the NL Championship where they will be huge underdogs. They have some of the lowest offensive stats in the playoffs thus far, and they still have been finding ways to win, and I wouldn't be surprised if they continued this against the Phils. Then again, Roy Halladay just pitched the second ever no-hitter in post season history!

Okay here it is - the Dallas Cowboys just aren't a very good football team. There we go, now that that's out of the way, how about the rest of the NFC East? As usual, three out of four NFC East teams look like winners. In the AFC East, The Jets are the real deal, from Super Bowl predictions and Hard Knocks to DUI's and calling famous wide receivers "slouch", here they are at 4-1 looking like one of the best teams in the league. But wait New York, don't forget about the Giants, who have looked great for the last two weeks. When they play like that they are one of the best teams in the league as well.

Basketball preseason has begun and the South Beach Talents have been taking their game on the road, a World Tour actually. For the first time in a long time I am excited for opening day basketball!

Gotta go, I'm texting with Jen Sturger and she wants me to send a picture.
