Flawless Thoughts

I'm concerned about the way the Yankees have headed into the postseason, their pitching is the wrong kind of filthy. Although I'd be much more worried if they were playing the Rangers first. Despite my concerns, I think the experience from last years amazing playoff run will help them get to a second consecutive World Series.

The Mets have FINALLY made the right decision about firing their GM and Manager. I'm not even a Met fan and I couldn't wait for them to get out of town. They might as well have kept Randolph as Manager, I think he would've done better over all than Manuel over the last few years, even though the team collapsed so badly under his watch.

Just a few days ago all I heard about the Giants was how bad they were and how Coughlin was on the hot seat. Cutler, check, Todd Collins, check, if they can keep knocking out QBs all season there will be no hot seat. Similar to the Jets losing to the Ravens in week one setting off all kinds of alarms, but the ringing has been silenced, they just ran the table on their division. Scandal and adversity have seemingly only helped the two New York football teams.

After all the talk about how bad the Patriots defense is, they went out and scored more touchdowns than Tom Brady himself! As much as I dislike the smug way they do things in New England(cheating), they know what they're doing, even when it doesn't look like it to the rest of us.
