With Michael Kay being on vacation it reminds me that Ken Singleton > Michael Kay by a wide margin.

March through mid-June is chock full of sports craziness, then July without any football free agency, trades or camps, just a boring so called "mid-summer classic" = sports hangover pass the seltzer and OJ.

Though the NBA lockout is on, the NBA will still release it's 2011-2012 schedule which is rumored to include a Christmas day game between the Heat and Mavericks. This is another reminder of how Christmas and basketball go together like peanut butter and scallops.
