My lock of the week is Packers over Bears. I'm staying away from the Jets, and moving to the NFC where the Packers look like they're destined for a Super Bowl appearance. The Bears haven't played a winning team in a long time, let alone beat one, and here come the hot as fire Packers with Rodgers looking great and some kid named Starks running the ball well for them.
Stay away from Jets vs Steelers. The Jets beat the Steelers in the regular season, but the Steelers have grown into a better team than they were then. You could argue that the Jets have too. Should be the best game of the weekend.

Sadly, there will be no gain in the "standings" from me this week as I agree 100%. I like the Jets, but my LOCK is the Pack... Aaron Rodgers is unstoppable and Jay Cutler will ultimately make mistakes that will cause da Bears a trip to Dallas.
ReplyDeleteMan, my Bears get no respect. I'm guessing it will be a good, close game, but the home field advantage will give it to the Bears. I will admit that Rodgers scares me.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I don't think it's correct to say the Bears haven't played a winning team in a long time. They beat the Jets in week 16, and the Eagles a couple or three weeks before that. They also lost a close one at GB in week 17.
